2005 Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 , TRD Sport , local truck owned by a guy that was 78 years old , this truck has a story to tell, and a well above average very nice truck , Automatic, V6, power locks, windows, tilt, cruise , A/C, tow hitch, bedliner, owner had several upgrades , he even had a power seat custom installed in this truck , hardshell folding bedcover, he purchased new Moto Metal Alloys , custom JVC sound system , purchased new step bars, headlights were replaced as he liked a real sharp truck, windows he had tinted , new evap cannister from Toyota , both catalytic converters were replaced , rotors, brake pads, shoes brake drums , front hub assemblys , custom performance exhaust , oil changed very regularly , etc, his nephew worked for Toyota and specializes in Toyota repair , so since 2017 was extremely well maintained , he was very particular about this truck, we detailed it regularly , now here is the bad part of the story , in Mar 2016 we purchased this truck at auction in charlotte , the guy that was driving the truck back for us was hit by a Nissan Titan that we also bought , the other driver was messing with radio and rammed the Titan into the passenger rear of this truck, we bought the truck back from the insurance as it was considered by insurance a total loss , bed was replaced as the frame was diamonded on the passenger rear , so we had frame replaced as well , only parts were painted was bed and passenger rear cab corner and passenger rear door was blended I think , surprisingly  the guy that was driving the truck for us back in mar 2016 ended up buying the truck in 2017 after we had truck fixed ,  he told us give him first chance when truck was done, so bottom line is a beautiful very nice well taken care and maintained so well above average , but also truck that shows total loss on title , so it needs to be a cash sale , it has history but I wouldnt be afraid to go anywhere in it , I have been toying with idea of keeping it myself , be hard to find a better truck , I will add the we have never fixed a insurance total loss and we do not buy or sell vehicles with that history , we made an exception on this one , we love Tacomas , and if we hadnt had  fixed the I would not have bought it back , when I sold it , I had him promise back in 2017 that if it was ever sold , give us first chance
